SPK Corporation (headquartered in Osaka, Japan; Kyoichiro Oki, President and CEO; hereinafter “SPK”) announces that, at a meeting of its Board of Directors held on 27 August 2026, it resolved to acquire shares of Fukuda Parts Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Hokkaido, Japan; Shinichi Fukuda, Chairman; hereinafter “Fukuda Parts”) and increase its equity interest in the company to 100%. The share acquisition is scheduled to be completed on 1 October 2026.

 Since its foundation in 1948, Fukuda Parts has been engaged in the sale of automotive parts and accessories, primarily in Sapporo City, supporting automotive repair shops, car accessories retailers, and other customers. Over the years, Fukuda Parts has established a strong local presence, built on trusted customer relationships, extensive sourcing capabilities, and a regionally focused sales and distribution network. SPK and Fukuda Parts have also developed mutual trust through a long-standing business relationship and gained a deep understanding of each other’s businesses. By combining Fukuda Parts’ long-established presence with the SPK Group’s global sales network, SPK believes that significant synergies can be created through the expansion of product offerings and business domains, leading to enhanced corporate value across the Group. Based on this assessment, SPK has decided to welcome Fukuda Parts to the SPK Group.

 Going forward, by integrating the management resources and networks of both companies, SPK will further strengthen its position as a “Global Trading Company for the Mobility Business”under VISION 2030, while enhancing the Group’s competitiveness and corporate value.
