SPK Corporation (headquartered in Osaka, Japan; KyoichiroOki, President and CEO; hereinafter “SPK”) has decided to invest in Baleros Internacionales S.A. de C.V. (headquartered in Mexico City, Mexico; Yoshinori Tanaka, Director; hereinafter “BISA”).

 

 BISA was established in Mexico in 1990 as a bearing trading company and currently distributes a wide range of products across the country, including its own private-brand items and major Japanese aftermarket products.
 Mexico has more than 35 million registered vehicles, and its automotive aftermarket has been expanding in line with the increasing number of vehicles, with further growth expected in the future. Against this backdrop, SPK decided to make this investment with the aim of expanding its presence in the market through collaboration with BISA, which has strong sales capabilities in Mexico.
 Going forward, SPK and BISA will promote personnel exchange and pursue business opportunities across the automotive aftermarket value chain in Mexico, leveraging BISA as a strategic base. This initiative aims to establish a solid foundation for SPK Group’s mid- to long-term growth.
